Michelle Diehl | Nurse Practitioner

Michelle is a board certified family nurse practitioner through ANCC. She has 23 years of experience in nursing and 19 as a nurse practitioner. She has found her home at Vibrant Life.  She has nearly 4 years of experience in the field of functional medicine and bioidentical hormone therapy and has been trained by the world’s leading hormone experts. She is passionate about helping patients and always puts them first. She takes a team approach with her patients and helps them tune in to what their body needs.  Through taking the time to listen, she is able to help her patient’s find their path to a higher quality of life and greater wholeness. She knows that no two paths are the same and that health is something that is best achieved by meeting people where they are, building a strong foundation from there, and treating them as a “whole person”. She understands our bodies are incredible tools and by working with it’s miraculous design, it’s function can be optimized and it’s potential is limitless.

Bringing with her a wealth of knowledge to Vibrant Life, Michelle Diehl has practiced in the field of eating disorders, workman’s compensation, ICU (newborn and medical-surgical) and higher education as a clinical adjunct faculty member at BYU in the Nurse Practitioner program.  With this varied career, Michelle is grateful to “come home” to the reason she started practicing medicine in the first place which was to help patient’s heal from the inside out and create the life they want.

Michelle received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science in Nursing degrees from the University of Utah in 2001 and 2005, respectively.  Always striving for excellence, she graduated at the top of her class, receiving the “Outstanding Master’s Student” award. She brings this same love of learning to her practice, always furthering her education in the field and researching the best natural and holistic ways to help her patients achieve optimal health. She acknowledges with deep gratitude that none of her achievements would have been possible without the unfailing support and encouragement of her family and friends.

At home, she loves to spend time with her husband, their blended family of six kids and her adorable dog.  She loves life, and values any activity involving connection, love and laughter with others.  Walking, hiking, deep conversations, and game nights are some of her favorite activities. Her deep love for music lead her to join an acappella quartet that performs locally.
